DATA MIGRATION FROM CLASS (OR OTHER CMS)

We have fully automated a specialised “ETL” transformation process using Microsoft Fabric Gen2 Dataflows backed by Microsoft Lakehouse and Parquet table format for performance. This workflow is customised specifically to facilitate CLASS to AIIM migrations but can be customised as needed. 

This has several benefits: 

• Multiple Test migrations can be done in advance of Production migrations to facilitate user acceptance testing before “go live”.

• Business downtime can be kept to a tight timeframe, where users transition to the new system over a pre-arranged outage window (e.g. a weekend).

• Customisations & centre-specific data cleanup can be done as part of the migration from CLASS to AIIM. Different CLCs have different challenges with their data and welcome the opportunity to clean up their data as part of the migration process.
