AIIM FEATURES & BENEFITS
AIIM is a Community Legal CRM developed by the Community Legal Centre’s (CLCs) sector, for the sector.
Designed as a clean-sheet practice management platform, it addresses the shortcomings of existing solutions. Drawing from the founding consortium’s experience as high-volume CLCs handling over 25,000 legal enquiries annually, AIIM was developed specifically to meet our sector’s unique needs.
AIIM provides Community Legal Centre’s (CLCs) with:
User-centric design using streamlined user-friendly forms & workflows
Client, Matter & Service Management
Referral Management
Document Management
Integrated Appointment Management & time-scheduling
Enhanced client matter and community project management
Open data approach for seamless integration with tools like Power BI
Modern capabilities, to allow for future AI-powered automation of administrative tasks and intake enquiries
By integrating AIIM, legal teams in the founding CLCs have already reported a significant reduction in the time and effort required for routine legal work.
Accessibility Standards
The AIIM platform, built on Microsoft technologies, adheres to WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, ensuring it is accessible to users with various disabilities. It provides a secure, functional mobile version with offline capabilities and automatic data syncing. The Microsoft Accessibility Checker can be used to identify any potential accessibility issues within AIIM, and it can be updated easily to maintain compliance
Auditing
Auditing in AIIM can be enabled according to organisational requirements to capture detailed records of user activity and data changes, such as record creation, updates, and deletions. These audit logs can then be shipped to analytics and governance solutions like Microsoft Purview for more comprehensive monitoring, oversight, and compliance reporting.
Customisable Interfaces
AIIM has been designed with responsive design principles to ensure a seamless experience across various devices, including phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops with different screen sizes and pixel counts. The platform allows users to customise the interface, adjusting font sizes, contrast, and visual elements, ensuring an inclusive experience tailored to individual needs. This flexibility supports optimal usability regardless of device or user preferences.
Integration to the National Data Repository for NLAP Reporting
We confirm that CLCs Australia can integrate AIIM data into the National Data Repository for NLAP reporting. AIIM has been specifically designed to include all NLADS fields and fulfil NLAP reporting requirements, while also meeting the case management needs of the community legal sector. All necessary fields and option sets are available, alongside the most commonly used fields across the sector.
Additional fields can be easily added or updated as required. A schema detailing the mappings and data entity relationships for NLADS and the sector is available on request.
Mobile and Offline Access
AIIM allows users to work efficiently offline, with improved device performance, responsiveness, and reduced battery consumption. Data syncs automatically when the device reconnects to the internet, ensuring smooth transitions between offline and online modes. An internet connection is only required to sync data with Microsoft Dataverse, ensuring continuous workflow.
Scalability
AIIM – through Microsoft’s Power Platform – offers robust scalability benefits, leveraging a well-designed Common Data Service (CDS) schema allows it to handle millions of rows of data and support hundreds of concurrent users.
Each CLC receives a dedicated tenant, ensuring optimal performance and full scalability without any issues. This makes it an ideal solution for growing organisations.
Training
Microsoft offers a variety of programs and courses for upskilling in these applications, providing accessible training for CLCs to develop their own in-house power users. Advanced skills in the Power Platform are also readily available in the market, reducing the need for specialist skillsets to manage the AIIM platform.
Your centre will be provided with System Administrator and Power User training during the delivery phase of this project, as well as training resources that can be customised to fit your centre’s requirements. Further training can be booked via our support model if required.
User Experience and Flexibility
AIIM leverages the latest in Microsoft’s cloud offerings providing full integration into their SaaS application stack. This keeps the experience intuitive for users already familiar with the Microsoft Windows & Office suites.
No proprietary applications are required to be installed or maintained to access the AIIM platform. AIIM integrates natively with several other digital resources commonly used by CLCs such as O365, SharePoint, Power Virtual Agents and Power BI.
All these applications integrate with AIIM without any add-ons or additional pricings involved. As they are all Microsoft products, compatibility will always be available with these applications.
