Until 31 August 2025
You can continue to use Workplace as normal. Upload, download, and collaborate just as you always have. But remember, this is the final stretch.
From 1 September 2025 to 31 May 2026
During this period, you will still have access to your Workplace data, but only for reading and downloading. The ability to create or collaborate will be disabled. This is the time to start thinking seriously about migrating your data.
From 1 June 2026
The curtain falls. Meta will completely remove access to Workplace, and any data that hasn’t been exported will be lost forever. It’s crucial to ensure all important information is extracted before this deadline.
What Are Your Options?
Now that you know the timeline, the big question is: What’s next? You have a few options, such as Slack or Zoom, but if your organisation is already invested in Microsoft 365, you’re in luck.
